KTM Crash Pegs V2 - Plug & Play

Our V2 crash pegs are the further developed version for even more quality, appearance and easy installation.

The package includes open axle nuts or open axle sleeves and the matching threaded rod. This eliminates the need for any additional modification of the original axle nut, making installation particularly clean and straightforward.

The crash pegs are precision CNC-machined, high-quality anodized in blue or orange, and feature a robust rubber insert. Their elegant design provides a significant visual upgrade and gives your bike a premium, sporty look.

In the event of a fall or slide, crash pegs are the first point of contact with the ground. They help to absorb the forces generated and can reduce damage to rims, swingarm, frame, brakes, fork, and plastic parts.

Differences from the standard version

The V2 crash pegs come complete with open axle nut or axle sleeve and threaded rod, are CNC-machined, anodized, and equipped with a rubber tip. This gives them an even higher-quality look and a particularly clean, well-designed solution for your bike.

A worthwhile upgrade for anyone who wants to combine maximum protection with high-quality design.

1. Remove original parts
   
   Remove the original closed axle nuts or axle plug sleeves on the front or rear axle.
   
2. Mounting open sockets / nuts
   
   Insert the supplied open, high-strength axle plug sleeves or axle nuts in place of the original parts and tighten them according to the manufacturer's specifications.
   
3. Insert threaded rod
   
   Insert the supplied threaded rod through the axle.
   
4. Install crash pegs
   
   Attach the CNC-milled crash pegs and rubber pads to the threaded rod on both sides.
   
5. Screw
   
   Screw the crash pegs in from the outside using the supplied screw and an Allen key until everything is tight.
   
6. Check seat
   
   Check that all parts are securely mounted and there is no play.
   

Done. The V2 crash pegs are now mounted and ready for use.

Make sure the crash pegs are correctly and securely mounted and have no play.

Before each ride, check that the crash pegs are firmly in place and that the screws are still secure.
