1. Remove spring
   
   First, remove the spring from the side stand. The easiest way to do this is with a spring removal tool; alternatively, you can use pliers or a sturdy cable tie.
   
2. Remove the original side stand
   
   Loosen the mounting screw of the original side stand and remove the stand and its associated attachments.
   
3. Install a new side stand
   
   Insert the new CNC side stand into the mount and install the original attachments.
   
4. Tighten the screw
   
   Screw the mounting screw back in and tighten it to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
   
5. Mount the spring
   
   Reattach the spring and check that the side stand folds in and out smoothly.
   

Done. The new side stand is now mounted and ready for use.
